The Townley team is excited to announce the construction of a brand new lumber mill on our original location, to be completed in the summer of 2020. We are also in the process of renovating our soil-cement log yard and company-owned road to ensure no truck gets stuck in the mud as we deliver exceptional wooden pallets to our valued customers.
Our vision is to implement innovative new ways to produce more pallets while saving trees and energy in the process. Our brand new sawmill will make use of recycled and ultra-efficient band saws with interchangeable electronics that drastically improve efficiency. Such a process ensures each tree is used in its entirety instead of creating the usual waste associated with conventional pallet production. Through this commitment to reducing waste, we create more value for our customers and guarantee a phenomenal finished wooden pallet.
